James Upfold’s career to date spans 30 years, resulting in a broad experience across industry sectors and procurement arrangements from ‘high end’ residential to educational establishments and prominent commercial and public entertainment/ leisure venues for ‘blue chip’ clients and leading project management organisations, with a career highlight undertaking a senior management roll in the feasibility, design coordination, procurement and successful delivery of the London Eye Millennium Project.
James has been a member of the Chartered Institute of Building since 1992 and has also been a participant of the selection panel for the interview and assessment of new candidates for membership.
The success of these businesses has been as a result of James’ highly developed professional approach, experience, technical knowledge and attention to detail, thus ensuring that the client’s aims and aspirations are carefully determined and delivered.
Our knowledge and confidence is derived from most industry sectors and architectural styles, enabling us to offer a complete construction service from conception to completion, or supporting client’s professional teams to deliver the project aims and aspirations.
It is from this skill set that we launched Surrey Oak Barns, to ensure a high level of expertise was available to clients wishing to explore a traditional oak frame solution to meet their construction needs.
