About Us

Surrey Oak Barns Limited have been successfully constructing oak framed buildings for the last 15 years.

During this period our clients identified a demand for a general contractor with a professional approach to construction and as a result, in 2009, James Upfold established Upfold Construction Limited as a sister company to Surrey Oak Barns allowing the expansion of our combined service offer.

Both businesses offer a professional, seamless and multi-trade service, for all domestic projects from garaging, extensions, renovation, refurbishment and maintenance to fully finished houses, all tailored to meet our client’s specific requirements.

Surrey Oak Barns and Upfold Construction have been awarded Chartered Building Company Status which identifies those businesses at a professional level that are committed to quality of product and service, integrity of conduct, and concern for clients’ needs.

Our management team, under the leadership of James Upfold, have a combined industry experience in excess of 80 years.
